My Mum proably bought me my first LPS when I was around 3 or 4? At first I wasn't too fussed about them but as I got older I started playing with them more and more and asking for them for Christmas and my birthday. My mum picked them out for me, she has said to me that she thought they were cute and she liked how big their heads are. I don't know what exactly triggered my sudden interest in them, but I should give some credit to LPStube adding to the interest.
Most of the time as people get older they grow out of their toys and give them away and move onto new things, but why have I stayed with LPS for so long? Well cause I find them very nostalgic and bring me a lot of joy, which is the main reason I still collect them. Another reason is a comfort aspect, still loving something I did as a child is a huge comfort and helps me deal with events that have happened in my life.
What I love a lot of them is their cubby chibi propotions and huge cute eyes that have become iconic alongside their big bobbly heads. I love how small they are as well, easily fitting in the palm of your hand makes them a excellent fidget toy.
The playsets that the pets come with are so well designed, the flower patterns and funky swirls alongside the groovy window frames has such fun feeling to it, their accessories are also very cute.
